REPLACEMENT / RETURN POLICY


1. Does www.shopdirecttv.com has a Return Policy?

We appreciate the time you spend on each purchase on our website/shopping channel and understand how valuable it is for you. However, in case you have received a product which is defective, damaged, we are happy to replace the same.

In case the products fall under the apparels and footwear category, the return policy includes return of products due to a mismatch in the size or colour .as well.

We follow a simple hassle free 48 hours return policy under which you can contact us / write to us stating your reason for return and we will initiate a reverse pick up of the product.

Shop Direct will examine whether the returned product is defective or damaged. In case the returned product is not defective or damaged, the customer will be informed about the same and the product as received will be returned to the shipping address of the customer.

If the returned product is eligible for a replacement, Shop Direct will initiate the replacement to the same shipping address of the customer, subject to the availability of the stock of the product if the stock is not available then Shop Direct will initiate Refund of the invoice amount.


2. Under what pretext such product return or replacement might be rejected?

Returns for replacement or exchange or refund under the below specified scenarios will NOT be possible:

• In case request for return is made after 48 hours after you have received the product.

• If the product is not being returned in the original condition, this includes washing and ironing.

• Products like Lingerie, innerwear, briefs, wristbands, vests, trunks, mittens, socks, cosmetics, deodorants, perfumes, flowers, contraceptives, bullion; and any complimentary or free items that is a part of the main order will not be eligible for replacement.

• When products are not returned with price tag, labels, or original packaging missing.

• In cases where the product is found to be tampered with, malfunctioning or missing its serial number.

• When they are damaged beyond the bounds of the manufacturers’ warranty.


3. How can I return the product?

You can write to us at customercare@sdtvmail.in. or simply pick up the phone and reach us at 0120-6756700 within 48 hours of receiving the product. Product replacement will be subject to the availability of stocks with our business partners. In case where we are unable to replace the said product, we will initiate a refund process.

4. Does the product need to be in the original packaging when I return it?

It is important that the product is returned in the original state of its packaging, intact with the manufacturer’s tags, boxes, manufacturer's packaging if any, and all other components that were originally included with the product at the time of delivery of the product. This includes any complimentary items as well if any.

5. What are the solutions available for the defective product that I have returned?

When a product is returned based on any defects or damages, the following can be possible solutions.

• Replacement of the product depending on the stock availability.

• Exchange.

• Full refund of the bill amount, in case replaceable stocks of the said product is not available.

6. Are all the products covered under the return policy?

All products on www.shopdirecttv.com. are eligible for refund or replacement, with an exception of the following:

Lingerie, innerwear, briefs, wristbands, vests, trunks, mittens, socks, cosmetics, deodorants, perfumes, flowers, contraceptives, bullion; and any complimentary or free items that is a part of the main order.

7. What is the time frame for returning the product?

You must intimate contact us at www.shopdirecttv.com under the section customer care department within 48 hours of receiving the product, in case you wish to replace it. The category- wise product return or refund stipulations are as follows.

• Apparel and footwear can be replaced if there is a problem in size or colour.

• For kids products, toys, health and beauty products, home and kitchen items, apparel, footwear and books ,replacement can be done in case they are found to be defective or damaged when received.

• In cases of replacement of kids products, toys, health and beauty products, home and kitchen items, apparel, footwear and books are found replacement can be done in case they are found to be defective or damaged when received.

• Electronic Products such as Mobile phones, tablets, laptops, computers, digital cameras, electronics and other appliances will not be entitled to a return for reasons other than “defective” or “damaged” products. However, the warranty obligations shall lie with the original manufacturer and in case of any defect found during warranty period of the product the customer may contact the respective manufacturer.

8. How can the product be reached to www.shopdirecttv.com in in case of return? Should I pay for such collection services?

The reverse pick up of the products will be done through our representative. In a rare case that we are unable to pick up the same, you will have to send it by courier using a reputed courier service. Shop Direct will reimburse the courier freight charges @ 10% of your order value (with a minimum of Rs. 100) or a maximum of Rs. 750, whichever is lower. The refund of courier freight charges, if applicable, will be paid by a Shop Direct Shopping Voucher of the equivalent value. The courier charges will be reimbursed only after receipt of the product in our warehouse.

We do not charge extra cost for returns and all replacements/pickups by us are done free of cost.

9. What should I do if reverse pick up services is not available in my area?

In rare cases where reverse pick up is not available in your area, our Customer support representative will help you out by telling you the address at which the courier needs to be sent.. You will have to send the product back to us using a reputed courier service. A reimbursement of courier charges will be sent to you in the form of a discount voucher as advised by our logistics team.

Please ensure that the product that is being returned is in original and unused condition, complete with the original price tags, labels, original packing and invoice. Replacements are subject to availability of stock with Shop Direct. In case a replacement is not available, we will initiate a full refund of invoice Value.
